The Spark

When two childhood friends found themselves at a turning point in their life, the concept for Chicory Jewel was created. One was a jewellery designer who was passionate about using jewellery to create beauty, and the other was a traveller who became fascinated with the variety of cultures and the timeless tales that each manufactured item had to offer. They both believed that jewellery should be genuine and personal, not simply an accessory, but an important element of an individual's life story.

Walking through an area of natural chicory flowers one fall afternoon, the two friends discussed how these hardy flowers could grow anywhere they wanted to and how their simple beauty might change everyday environments. They were motivated by this discussion to create Chicory Jewel, a jewellery line which symbolises courage, determination, and the unique beauty found in the surprising.

To achieve their goal, they dedicated themselves to sourcing the best, ethically mined materials and working closely with talented manufacturers. In order to create items that, like the chicory flower, stand out and flourish in any setting, they set out to create works that celebrate individuality while creating a personal connection with individuals.

Chicory Jewel is now offering jewellery that inspires in addition to beautifying. Inspired by the simplicity of nature, each piece has been carefully created to celebrate the lovely stories that are hidden between life's most cherished moments.
